This was a quick in class exercise for my Advertising class during fourth year.
Vivid Dreams is a brand targeted towards both younger and older women that might have an inclination towards darker makeup. I went with a floral design since it is both classy and chic. I wanted the colours to be loud and pop against the dark background to call attention to the packaging. I also wanted the colour to match the shade of the lipstick, so if this was a series, each design would have a colour that represents the shade of it. This would also attract people who are drawn to the colours of a shade with the packaging and make it easier to find the shade for fans of the product.
